For the last few months, the Dell Streak has been whispered about in the back hallways. In credit counseling offices and I.T. offices across the nation, there was happiness when the Dell Streak 7 and 10 inch versions were leaked.

There have been pictures leaking of the Dell Streak for months now. The Dell Streak 5 – otherwise known as Mini 5 – was released on March 9. Because no ship date or price was accessible, this flier was just a teaser. This morning, though, came confirmation that the Dell Streak slate computer lineup will also include a 7-inch and 10-inch Streak.

The line of Dell Streak computers are true multipurpose tablet computers. The Dell Streak 5 is rumored to have a SIM slot and dialer device, meaning it can be capable of functioning as a telephone as well. All Dell Streak slate computers will come with an Amazon content partnership. Packaged in multiple colors, the Dell Streak will have a reader app, MP3 player, and video streaming. A 5 megapixel camera, 30-pin docking connector, touch display, and VGA camera will extend the usability of the Dell Streak.
Though the Dell Streak operating system has not yet been released to the public, most rumors are that it will run on a Windows or Windows-style operating system. By hire dedicated programmers, anybody who wanted to create an application or program could develop one.
The Dell Streak doesn’t yet have a ship date or price. The Dell Streak 7 and 10 won’t be available for a few more months. While some techies may have already gotten a cash advance just on the rumor of the Dell Slate, most will probably have to wait until at least the end of the year. . Dell Streak 7 and Dell Streak 10 should be available in the first few months of 2011. The iPad, iPhone, and WePad should watch out!
